Q + A

General Question

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 02:00 PM. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to find your seat and get settled.

Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will be held at Freda Residence. Check the “Home” section of our website for the address.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, we’ll transition to cocktail hour followed by dinner, dancing, and plenty of fun!

Where is the reception?

The reception will be held on the same property as the ceremony. No additional transportation will be necessary upon arrival to the wedding location!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Parking is available on-site, with additional overflow available along the road.

Who shall we contact if we have any other questions?

Please direct any other inquiries about the wedding to jojobridezilla@gmail.com ! Yes, you read that right.

RSVP & Attendance

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 1st 2025. It’s important for us to finalize our guest list and seating chart.

Can I change my RSVP after submitting it?

If something changes, let us know as soon as possible by contacting us directly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your wedding invitation will indicate all invited members of your family, as well as a plus one if specified. We ask that you do not bring uninvited guests, as the preparations are being made to account for each RSVP’d member, without surplus. We don’t want to run into a situation where we are running out of provisions for our invited guests!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

With love, we are limiting our guest list to adults and only the invited children within our immediate family. Thank you for your understanding!

Food & Drinks

What kind of food will be served?

Our menu will feature classic Italian cuisine from a local favorite restaurant. Due to the scale of the event dietary accommodations may be difficult so please let us know in advance to see if we can make special arrangements.

Will there be a kids’ menu?

There will not be a special menu for kids.

What drinks will be served?

We will be featuring mainly bottled wine and beer from a local brewery. Non-alcoholic options will be available as well! Due to the length of the venue from most lodging accommodations we are opting not to serve hard liquor to promote a safe travel environment after the event.

Travel & Accommodation

Are there recommended places to stay near the venue?

Yes! Many will find it easier to book an Airbnb near the event. The closest town is Callicoon, NY, which has minimal hotel accommodations. If you prefer to stay in a hotel, we recommend searching in and around Honesdale, PA, where you’ll find more options. Make sure to book in advance—our wedding date falls during an especially busy time of year, and many places may fill up quickly! While there aren’t many hotels in the immediate area, there are plenty of great options on Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia, Booking.com, and other sites. To make things easier, we’ve put together a list of recommended places to stay. You can check it out here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jURSOajftiJI2NVZR-7apwDOp_xkTGoAwIKs02nDUyE/edit?usp=sharing . If you have trouble accessing the link, feel free to text or email us, and we’ll send it directly to you. We can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!

What’s the best way to get to the venue?

Google Maps will direct you to the site. It is in a rural area and some cell carriers may not have service. We will have the entrance clearly marked so you won’t miss us!

Will transportation be provided?

Travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the guests. If you plan on drinking, please prepare accordingly!

Ceremony & Reception

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be outdoors. Dress for the weather, and don’t forget grass-friendly footwear!

Will there be dancing?

Absolutely! Bring your dancing shoes—we can’t wait to see your moves on the dance floor.

What time does the event end?

We plan to wrap up at 9pm, but we hope to make the most of every moment with you.

Miscellaneous

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from using phones and cameras during the Ceremony. We’ll have a professional photographer and videographer capturing every special moment! Once the ceremony is finished, bring out those cameras and catch all the glossy dance moves that you can!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes! Use #tim&jo2025 to share your photos—we’d love to see your snapshots of the day.

What should I bring?

Just yourself and your good vibes! If you’d like to leave us a card or gift, there will be a table for that near the entrance.

Do you have a preference for gifts?

The current chapter of our life has us preparing to purchase a new home to start our family in! A gift is not required, as your presence is the greatest gift of all. However, we are appreciative of any financial contributions you’d be willing to give to help us make our dream home a reality! If you are compelled to give us a physical gift, we also have a registry on our site!

Where should I send the gift?

We live in Florida, and our registry website will direct you to our Florida address. We kindly ask that gifts be sent there directly. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!

Can I Bring my pet?

As much as we love our furry friends, we kindly ask that you leave them at home for the day, considering the comfort and convenience of all our guests. Thank you for understanding! 🐾💕

What should I wear?

Gentlemen, this is your moment to suit up! Blazers are required, and adding a tie will take your look to the next level of dapper. Ladies, think elegance meets glamour—dresses longer than fingertip length are perfect, whether you choose a formal gown or a chic cocktail dress. Consider this a fun excuse to dress up and feel fabulous! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend stylish yet grass-friendly footwear to keep you comfortable while you dazzle. Get ready to turn heads—we can’t wait to see your fabulous looks on our big day!
